Execs Still Question Integrity of Financial Data, Says Survey

STAMFORD, Conn., Nov. 6, 2003 (SmartPros) The preliminary results from a survey on business performance management indicate that executives are questioning the accuracy and integrity of the financial data available to them from their existing systems, said Craig Schiff, president and CEO of BPM Partners.

Schiff will discuss the findings of the "2003 Performance Management Research Study" at the DCI Performance Management Conference in Boston, December 2-4.

Budgeting, planning, consolidation, scorecards, dashboards, business intelligence and analytic applications all fall under the BPM umbrella. In addition, regulatory issues such as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance are often business drivers for today's BPM applications.
